Here's 5 things i've done that helped me love and accept my body and I would recommend you doing them too...
1 - Unfollow all media that have a negative narrative towards plus size bodies. This includes family members/friends and people in real life.
Check in with how you feel when you're with them or when you see their content, if negative feelings arise or you get a major case of comparison - please unfollow/unfriend/unsubscribe!
2 - Surround yourself with people who look like you and have positive body image. Follow influencers that are body positive and get around your body positive friends in real life.
3 - Stop weighing yourself. Ditch the scales if they aren't helpful and your obsessing over the numbers, at the end of the day it's not about the number - it's about what you're making that number mean.
4 - Watch your mouth!
Be careful how you talk to yourself because you are always listening!
Start speaking kind words to yourself, find the beauty in your body - even if it is in the smallest limb.
5 - Listen to self development podcasts that speak on positive body image.
